Together, they begin to dig for the truth, fighting to stay alive as they’re dragged down into a world of secrets and lies. But when the threat hits close to home, Kate must choose between vengeance and a future with the man who’s ignited a fire inside her that she thought died long ago.

REVIEW

It’s no secret that I love the Capital Confessions series, with every book Chanel Cleeton seems to have found another plotline or trope that I love and made it her own with fantastic results. Flirting With Scandal only scratched the surface of the seamy underbelly of the Washington the Reynolds girls have grown up in. Playing With Trouble gave us more detail into the backstory of this complex family and Falling for Danger blows the whole thing wide open!

Kate didn’t figure much in the first installment of the series but when I read Playing With Trouble, I must admit I didn’t like her. I had no such issue with Falling for Danger. Kate has loved the same person her whole life and when her childhood sweetheart and fiancé died for all intents and purposes so did Kate. Her only remaining motivation was to find out what happened to Matt and make sure those responsible no matter how close they were to her paid.

Only it turns out that Matt didn’t die in Afghanistan, their reunion is far from joyous as it turns out that someone doesn’t want Kate to discover the secret about the mission where he was supposed have died and is willing to do whatever it takes to stop her. That doesn’t stop every encounter of Matt and Kate’s from practically melting my e-reader though.

If by some quirk of fate you have not happened upon this entertaining, smoking hot series featuring three sisters and the men who love them while they navigate the stormy waters of Washington DC just one-click it. You won’t be sorry.

About the Author:

Originally a Florida girl, CHANEL CLEETON moved to London where she received a bachelor’s degree from Richmond, The American International University in London and a master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Chanel fell in love with London and planned to stay there forever, until fate intervened on a Caribbean cruise and a fighter pilot with smooth dance moves swept her off her feet.

Now, a happily ever after later, Chanel is living her next adventure. Law school made Chanel realize she’d rather spend her days writing sexy stories than in a courtroom, and she hasn’t looked back since. An avid reader and hopeless romantic, she’s happiest curled up with a book. She has a weakness for handbags, her three pups, and her husband.

Chanel writes contemporary romances. She is published by Harlequin HQN, Penguin/InterMix, and Penguin/Berkley and is the author of the International School, Capital Confessions, and Wild Aces series.
